What could he mean by losing except that Cheap Replica Oakley Sunglasses Sale she was the one thing which he desired to find But she had not seen him since, or heard a word of his whereabouts, although, as she so well remembered, she had. Oakley Sunglasses batwolf Fake given him an address at her Aunt Emmeline's -- not knowing then that Cheap Replica Oakley Sunglasses Sale it would be her fate to become a resident in her Aunt Emmeline's house.
For the past week I have not been motivated to write … so I decided to use “Motivation” as the subject for this blog. Lol...

Motivation, the dictionary describes as a desire or willingness of someone to do something.

When I was in school I used to be active more than 16 hours a day. I was motivated to graduate, succeed and to earn money. At night I could not sleep because I was afraid that I would not be able to accomplish what I wanted. Now that i've graduated... I am still motivated, but money and success are not my motivation like i initially thought, instead my motivation is to make changes, to create ideas or projects that will change peoples lives. Ideas that will be felt and seen long after I am gone.

So how does motivation work?

There are two types of motivation, Intrinsic and Extrinsic motivation:
Did you know that?!? Lol..

Intrinsic motivation means that the individual's motivational stimuli are coming from within. The individual has the desire to perform a specific task, because its results are in accordance with his belief system or fulfills a desire and therefore importance is attached to it.

Our deep-rooted desires have the highest motivational power. Some of them are:
Acceptance: We all need to feel that are accepted
Curiosity: We all have the desire to be in the know.
Honor: We all need to respect the rules and to be ethical.
Independence: We all need to feel we are unique.
Order: We all need to be organized.
Power: We all have the desire to be able to have influence.
Social contact: We all need to have some social interactions.
Social Status: We all have the desire to feel important.

Extrinsic motivation means that the motivational stimuli are coming from outside. In other words, our desires to perform a task are controlled by an outside source. Note that even though the stimuli are coming from outside, the result of performing the task will still be rewarding for the individual performing the task. Extrinsic motivation is external in nature. The most well-known and the most debated motivation is money.

Hopefully I can help cultivate a new generation with principles, strength, that will become and promote a positive impact in this world.

1.The run/walk method is simple: After you've warmed-up with a 5-minute walk, run for a short segment and then take a walk break. Beginners can alternate very short run segments with short walks, such as 1 minute running, 7 minutes walking.

2.Keep repeating your run/walk pattern until you've covered your goal distance or time. For example, if you want to run/walk for 16 minutes, you can run/walk at a 1:7 ratio for two cycles. Make sure that you're using the proper form (applies to both your running and walking segments).

3.You should start your walk portion before your running muscles get too tired. This will allow your muscles to recover instantly, which extends the time and distance that you can cover. If you wait until you're very fatigued, you'll end up walking slowly and it will be difficult to start running again.

4.If you want to time your running and walking intervals, you can use a watch or other device that beeps to signal when you need to switch. A simple running watch such as the Timex Ironman has an interval timer feature. Another product that is a favorite among run/walkers is the Gymboss, a small, easy-to-use interval timer that can clip onto your shorts, shirt, jacket, or hat.

5.For the walk portions, make sure you're not taking a leisurely stroll. You should use good running form and pump your arms, so that your heart rate stays elevated. That way, you'll still be getting a good cardiovascular workout and it will make the transition back to running easier.

6.As you continue with your run/walk program, try to extend the amount of time you're running and reduce your walking time.
More: When Does it Get Easier?

7.If you'd like to aim to run for 30 minutes continuously, try this 8-week run/walk program for beginners.http://running.about.com/od/getstartedwithrunning/ht/getstarted.htm

8.Once you can successfully run for long stretches, don't feel as if you have to abandon the run/walk method. Some long-distance runners use it in training runs and races to help reduce muscle soreness and fatigue.

It all started back when they killed Biggie Smalls & Tupac, then my childhood friend 50cent started attacking rappers which gave way to a white boy and a corrections officer taking over hip hop when all of a sudden mad wack rappers came out and the music industry was saturated with bullshit politics, the internet free sharing downloads, and greed and it was accepted. Then there was Myspace followed by Flava Flav getting a reality show then American Idol started discriminating against black talent and made the world judgemental on there can only be one winner. Then they cancelled Richard Bey, Ricki Lake, and Queen Latifah and let Jerry Springer ride on for a minute until Montell couldnt hold his own marriage together and Maury just blew up from ignorant uncontrollable kids, cheating bitches, baby daddy test result drama shit. Then everybody got a reality tv show and it changed tv forever. Next was Facebook then Twitter which turned into Facebook/Twitter Beef sites making it possible for World Star to be the Maury of the internet. Then Cash Money Records started signing everybody after Suge Knight got knocked out on TMZ and couldn't do it anymore. Then what happens....JayZ, Kanye, Rihanna, & Beyonce took over the New York Music scene and after Roc-a-Fella records was shut down they signed a few more people to the new label because all the other co-owners were arrested for drug trafficking but no one on the new label could sell records because all the bosses still covered the spotlight. Diddy, my favorite, stepped into the reality tv scene but couldn't (or wouldn't) do meaningful record contracts and damn near lost all of his musical talents (actually, once again after the 90s Bad Boy favorites were dismantled) just like Da Band & Dirty Money today. Then we had a few crazy things happen in between all of the above from 9/11 to The East Coast Blackout to Hurricane Katrina to The George W. Bush & his Bank Friends robbing the people of the United States causing a global melt down and recession that hurt millions to Tiger Woods cheating on a white woman to Obama being the first black President to Rebecca Black selling 14 million records on iTunes to Gangnum Style being a major hit in the United States but only has three english words in the entire song to the new rappers rapping about Popping Mollys all the way to Hurricane Sandy...... And so here we are today, i mean I could go on, but i must say that times have changed for the worse and i feel sorry for the future of the world. Everybody please remember to keep God first and always take care of whats most important in your life (family, kids, bills, etc.) and not worry about the next person because at the end of the day........it's the end of the day.

Add to that one of the best multiplayer platforms and CoD:MW2 is a great add-on to a holiday weekend.

What makes this game all-American: When you jump into the boots of a United States Ranger defending Washington D.C. from invading forces

No.2 MLB 2K10

What would an American summer be without baseball? MLB lets players assume the control of some of Major League Baseball’s hottest players. You can even track your own career as you progress from the minors to the majors. With a great soundtrack and real-life ballplayers available, MLB feels like a day at the ballpark. You may even sing “Take Me Out” at the seventh inning stretch.

What makes this game all-American: It’s baseball, what more could you ask for? Take a base, try to steal home and take off your hat for the national anthem

No.3 Splinter Cell: Conviction

Sam Fisher is one of the greatest spies in the world. Now, he’s hunted by his former government and hunting its corrupt elements in return. Go around the world, fight terrorists both foreign and domestic and even storm the White House to save the president. EIDOS’ Splinter Cell: Conviction lets gamers single-handedly save the United States from the shadows of covert operations.

What makes this game all-American: When Fisher has to storm the streets of Washington D.C. in order to save democracy, the video game is raised from vengeance to vigilance

No.4 Madden NFL 10

Not every game that reminds us of being all-American is full of explosions and warfare. What's more American than great sports, and when you talk sports you'll need to talk about Madden NFL 10. The game gives players the chance to play as teams from the NFL with a 2009 lineup. Experience fumble pileups, multiplayer tackles and management of the franchise.

What makes this game all-American: Picking your favorite pigskin crushing team and going against the AI or a fellow gamer.

No.5 Metal Gear 4

Metal Gear is known for many things -- mainly complex story lines, great graphics and intense political themes. Konami’s stealth action game continues the saga of Solid Snake, now suffering from his own genetics, and his pursuit against terrorists out to hijack a worldwide computer network.

What makes this game all-American: Metal Gear has been discussing corrupt government, personal freedom and the true definition of liberty since it first debuted on the NES decades ago. Pick any discussion between Snake and his team or his enemies and you'll wonder what being free truly is

No.6 Rock Band 2

Gather up your guitar and go to town in Harmonix’s entry in the long-running series. A great 4th of July weekend could easily feature some outdoor grilling, cold beer-drinking and straight-up rocking out. With a long list of bands that include Kansas, Metallica, Nirvana, and Bob Dylan, Rock Band 2 covers the epitome of American music.

What makes this game all-American: A great blend of classic and current rock bridges the gaps between new gamers and old-school music lovers. Sing or play “American Woman” or “Carry On Wayward Son,” and try to not see fireworks and red, white and blue

No.7 UFC Undisputed 2010

Given the chance, one can’t help but feel that our founding fathers would have kicked back, grabbed a cold one and watched some UFC. UFC Undisputed 2010 lets fans not only watch great takedowns, but participate. THQ’s MMA video game includes fighters such as Mauricio Rua, Quinton Jackson, Tim Sylvia, and Kimbo Slice.

What makes this game all-American: MMA offers something for every sports fan out there regardless of nationality. Drop some jujitsu on your opponent and see the rocket's red glare.

No.8 Halo 3: ODST

While the previous installments in the award-winning Halo series puts you in the armor of the super-soldier Master Chief, Halo 3: ODST puts you in the boots of a regular Joe. Playing as the rookie, you team up, look for and fight alongside your teammates against the invading Covenant.

What makes this game all-American: The camaraderie and the war setting are throwbacks to the old days of WWII and Audrey Murphy movies. Instead of being a cyborg fighting machine, you’re a regular guy trying to do the right thing and protect freedom in the process.

No.9 NHL 10

While most people think hockey and Canada belong in the same sentence, we can’t forget that the ice rink sport is loved in the U.S. as well. Suit up, hit the ice and try to keep cool during the hot 4th of July weekend with this EA Sports crowd-pleaser. NHL 10 features intense gameplay, major teams through the United States (go Blackhawks!), intimidation tactics, and even FPS fighting.

What makes this game all-American: The chance to be your team’s best player and kick ass on the ice (or be the general manager).

No.10 Forza Motorsport

Fast cars, exotic automobiles and good old-fashioned muscle machines can all be found in Microsoft Game Studios’ simulation racing game. Forza boasts some of the best graphics available and allows gamers the chance to race stock cars, SUVs and high-end foreign and domestic vehicles. Sure, exploding fireworks and enemy tanks can bring out the patriot in all of us, but try a little heart-pumping, blood-rushing pedal-to-the-medal and you’ll be able to smell the gasoline and burning rubber.

What makes this game all-American: Command RPMs behind the wheel of a Chevy Stingray or a Dodge Charger -- need we say more?

Wanna get your freak on?? Well here are some of the world's best strip clubs to help you do your thang!!

No.10 K5 Relax

Prague, Czech Republic
Set in beautiful Prague, where the women have a feral quality to their Slavic features, K5 is like Doublemint gum -- it doubles your fun by combining a slick strip club with a built-in escort service. In the cavern-like restaurant in Prague’s Golden City, you can eat while being treated to some sultry pole-dancing. Then, you can retire to one of K5’s themed rooms for your hard-earned dessert

No.9 Wanda’s

Montreal, Quebec
Montreal is globally renowned as a sin city where strip clubs and rub-and-tugs are as rampant as porn on the internet. And back in the day, Chez Paree was the spot for hockey players and high-rolling tourists. The times are changing, however, and Wanda’s has established itself as Montreal’s classiest place to sit back and let the female form take you away to that special place where all your dirty fantasies might come true

No.8 Mons Venus

Tampa, Florida
Mons Venus: It sounds like a sexual gland. As a matter of fact, the mons pubis is a female pubic region, and Venus is mythologically known as the goddess of love. So, when you walk into the underbelly of Mons Venus in hot and sticky Tampa Bay, you can expect things to get a little seedy. With no private rooms, all the gritty goodness happens on stage, where there are often six girls flashing their tail at any one time. For some, it might even be too much of a good thing, but can you really have too much naked?

No.7 Seventh Heaven

Tokyo, Japan
Seventh Heaven is Tokyo’s original strip club, and it's styled after occidental strip clubs. There is a fairly even spread between American, Asian and European girls, so it is ideal for the traveling businessman who can’t be bothered negotiating the dirty terrain of second-tier establishments. And if you go, don’t be surprised if you meet a friendly Westerner who stopped teaching English to make bigger money by grinding her booty on stage

No.6 Le Crazy Horse

Paris, France
Le Crazy Horse is the classic Parisian strip joint that, like Moulin Rouge, combines cabaret spectacles with naughty behavior. In various stages of undress, the ladies bathe themselves, dance as flappers or swing together in a smoothly choreographed laser-light show. Now, if you can’t make it to Paris, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas has a Crazy Horse Show where you can get more or less the same thing, and one of the best strip clubs in Vegas is Crazy Horse Too, where the service platter gets more lewd than its Parisian counterpart

No.5 Spearmint Rhino

Las Vegas, Nevada
Also in Vegas is the Spearmint Rhino, which has recently been named the Gentleman’s Club of the Year at the Exotic Dancer’s Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show. With over 250 dancers, the girls are piping hot and the club is always packed. Because of its success, the Spearmint Rhino has branched out and set up shop all over the world, but the original in Vegas is still the one. It's upscale, and if you can afford the cash, be sure to treat yourself to a stint in the private Rhino Room, where the world is your oyster and you call the shots.

No.4 4 Play Gentleman’s Club

Los Angeles, California
Located in West L.A., 4 Play is like the rest of L.A.: full of silicone blondes. The difference is that after drooling about the sexual skills of the girls on the beach, at 4 Play you get Playmate-caliber dancers who treat the pole like their best vibrator. Oddly, the joint doesn’t serve booze, but what’s the point in getting your drink on when you’d rather get a hard-on? With lap dances, couch dances and even bed dances, 4 Play is sure to have you reaching for the bankroll and begging to go all the way

No.3 Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club

New York, New York
With Hustler Clubs having been franchised and set up all over the States, it would be difficult to say they’re all the same, but the one in New York is a kick-ass joint. After all, the girls are New Yorkers and there’s a lot to choose from in a city full of promises and dreams. The high ceilings encourage acrobatic feats from the girls, and with a new wing for big spenders, you can look forward to blowing your wad in the brand-new themed fantasy suites

No.2 Night Flight

Moscow, Russia
Moscow is a wild and crazy place, especially for a stranger in such a strange land, but Night Flight does its best to make you feel like a king by tickling your five senses. The Swedish-run establishment is a restaurant, a night club, a cigar lounge, and a strip club all rolled into one. Their motto is: “Nightflight: Do It Tonight.” The women are gorgeous and the scene is like an X-rated high school prom where the only goal is to get it on. And if you don’t dream of Russian booty from time to time, you clearly haven’t played Russian roulette to see how long you can hold out before the gun goes off and you topple over

No.1 Hot Lap Dance

New York, New York
At Hot Lap Dance, they don’t beat around the bush. Brushing aside the traditional agony of watching naked chicks while surrounded by a bunch of other horny dudes, Hot Lap Dance focuses on the private lap dance. Rated as one of America’s hottest locales for sexual escape, Hot Lap Dance is located in a commercial loft space in Midtown Manhattan, and if you know anything about New Yorkers, you can rest assured the nubile girls you meet will have some kind of wild personality to go with their killer bodies. And given its private, more intimate setup, Hot Lap Dance is also one of the finest spots to let it all hang out at your bachelor party.

The chatter at Brian D's Old School Barbers sounds like that at most barbershops. The customers at the north Minneapolis shop dissect the latest Timberwolves game, ponder the Vikings' quarterback situation, discuss organ donations.

Hold on a minute. Who injected that oh-so-serious topic into what had been a carefree chewing of the conversational fat?

It turns out to be the shop's owner, Brian Davis. He's part of Barbershop Conversations, a three-year program in which just over two dozen African-American barbers in 18 Twin Cities shops volunteered to lobby their clientele about health issues, including diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and organ donations.

"African-American men need to talk about these things, but we're not big on doctors and hospitals," Davis said.

Clarence Jones, outreach director for Southside Community Health Services in Minneapolis, agreed that "in our community, there's a history of mistrust of the health care industry."

But barbershops are different. For many blacks, especially men, the shops serve as social gathering spots, places that offer support and encouragement along with shaves and haircuts. Davis said it's not unusual on a Saturday to have 20 men in the shop, just chatting.

"Men will tell things to their barber that they won't tell to their wives," Jones said.

And that means that "barbers are in a position to talk to men about issues that they won't talk about elsewhere."

The Barbershop Conversations program was jointly sponsored by the University of Minnesota, Lifesource (which promotes tissue and organ donation) and Q Health Services (part of Southside Community Health Services).

It was patterned after similar projects elsewhere, said Lifesource representative Susan Mau Larson. The program has been successful in Chicago and Detroit, and projects are underway in New York City and across California.

"It's a very effective form of outreach," she said. "Because African-American barbershops are such popular gathering spots, they provide a good venue for reaching people."

Fred Evans, one of Davis' regulars for five or six years, agreed with the theory of basing the program in the barbershops. "You have to meet the people where they are," he said.

The barbers who took part in the project had to undergo eight hours of training, covering both the health issues and ways to ease those topics into the conversation between

"Want a little off the top?" and "What do you think of the Twins' chances this year?"

"It has to be very conversational," Davis said.

"You can't just jump in and say, 'How come you're not eating better?' So I start by talking about myself, how I'm doing, and then we just sort of ease into it. It's a trust thing; once they realize that you're willing to open up, they will, too."

Davis is an enthusiastic mentor who practices what he preaches. He has given up most meats and eats as many vegetables as he can. Doubt him? He'll show you the plastic bag of Brussels sprouts he brought for lunch.

As an outgrowth of his emphasis on healthy living, he also hands out condoms to young customers. That's not part of the Barbershop Conversations program, but he does it anyway, the same way he has talked Tyrone Shepard, the other barber in the shop, into losing 40 pounds.

"He's always trying to get me to eat right and be healthy," Shepard said, adding with a laugh: "He tried to get me to give up all the good stuff. I gave up half of it."

"That's one less pork chop," Davis crowed from across the room. "That's all it takes."

Increasing awareness of health issues was one of the goals of the Barbershop Conversations, and it appears to be a resounding success. But the program has struggled with its other major objective, which was to increase the number of black men who register as organ or tissue donors.

"Women tend to register more than men," said Dr. David Radosevich, who is evaluating the project for the University of Minnesota.

"It will take time," he said. "Very few people go to the (state) website and change their status. They do it when they renew their driver's licenses. And even though we haven't seen an increase in donors, we have seen a heightened level of awareness of the issue. We're seeing a lot more willingness to discuss the matter, which is a really positive result.

1) Elway's — John Elway (Denver)

In Denver, John Elway is God. The former Broncos quarterback did what few legends have done: won his second Super Bowl in 1999, retired on top, and then stayed retired. His foray into fine dining has been equally successful. He co-owns three eponymous restaurants, one in the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver, one in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood, and a third in Vail, Colo. The steakhouse menu will please carnivores with a caveman's appetite, but skirt the standards to find the creative apps and sides, like lamb chops dipped in green-chile fondue, crunchy calamari tossed with stuffed olives and cherry peppers, and truffled beet and mozzarella salad.

2) Tresca — Ray Bourque (Boston)

Twenty-one seasons with the Boston Bruins made Ray Bourque a legend in Boston. Even though it wasn't until joining the Colorado Avalanche that he won the Stanley Cup, Bourque chose Boston as the place to open his Italian restaurant, Tresca. There's a four-course tasting menu to help you navigate choosing between crespelle, vongoline, cioppino, osso bucco, maiale Abbruzzese, and other promising and authentic dishes.

3) The Kingfish Café — Gary Payton (Seattle)

While playing for the Seattle Supersonics in the late 1990s, former NBA point guard Gary Payton became a co-owner of this authentic Southern spot. The menu is as fun to read as the food is to eat: Sho'Nuff Fried Green Tomatoes, Hoppin' John Griddlejacks, and Down Home Mac and Cheese. Save room for dessert — the red-velvet cake layered with cream cheese frosting is a winner.

4) Arnold Palmer's Restaurant — Arnold Palmer (La Quinta, Calif.)

"Taste the good life" is the tagline of Arnold Palmer's Restaurant in La Quinta, Calif. Makes sense. If anyone's living the good life, you'd think it would have to be Palmer. He won 92 national and international championships (61 of them on the regular PGA Tour), he's designed golf courses, and hey, he even invented a famous drink. Menu highlights include date and strawberry salad, honey-soy glazed Chilean sea bass, rack of lamb, and pan-seared sea scallops.

5) Short's Burger and Shine — Nate Kaeding (Iowa City, Iowa)

Though he kicked clutch field goals for the San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins, Nate Kaeding has maintained a connection to his hometown of Iowa City, Iowa, by buying a stake in this bare-knuckle burger and beer joint. The corn-fed beef comes from Ed Smith's Farm, just 26 miles down the road, and the craft beer comes from breweries around the state, like Old Man River. If you ever find yourself in Iowa, stop here for the Popejoy burger, a messy medley of patty meat, capicola, provolone, and muffaletta sauce.

6) Yao Restaurant & Bar — Yao Ming (Houston)

Yao Restaurant & Bar was good enough to be featured at number 19 on The Daily Meal's list of 25 Best Celebrity-Owned Restaurants. Former Houston Rockets center Yao Ming and his wife joined with friends and local restaurant owners to create a large space serving Chinese and Chinese-American food. Lettuce wraps, Peking dumplings, Kung Pao (Yao?) beef — it's all there.

USA TODAY: 10 great places in Lyle Lovett's Houston

7) Greg Norman's Australian Grille — Greg Norman (Myrtle Beach, S.C.)

An Australian grille in South Carolina? It might not be the first thing that comes to mind for the Southern state's cuisine, but it's there, set along the Intracoastal Waterway in the golfer's paradise of North Myrtle Beach. From the open kitchen comes tuna sashimi crusted with sesame seeds served over a cucumber seaweed salad tossed in a plum vinaigrette, oven-roasted half duckling served with black-pepper fettuccine and garnished with asparagus tips and a cherry ginger sauce, and slow-roasted 28-day aged prime rib. The link's legends' signature chardonnays, rieslings, and cabernets round out the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence-recognized list of spirits.

8) Bubba's Q — Al "Bubba" Baker (Avon, Ohio)

After retiring from professional football, defensive lineman Al "Bubba" Baker and his wife Sabrina opened a catering business featuring "Southern-style barbecue cuisine." Bubba's Q has since done pretty well, at least according to the accolades they list (among them Cleveland Magazine and Silver Spoon Awards for "Best Ribs" and "Best Barbecue Restaurant" from 2009 to 2011).

9) Vince Young Steakhouse — Vince Young (Austin, Texas)

Though he now plays in the NFL, quarterback Vince Young remains king in Austin for leading the University of Texas football team to the NCAA national championship in 2005. A few years ago he returned to his college stomping grounds to open his first restaurant downtown. The menu specializes in beef, from short-rib chili to locally sourced Texas prime-grade steaks and a rich Wagyu-brisket burger balanced out by briny house-made pickles.

10) Island Way Grill — Mike "A-Train" Alstott and Dave Moore (Clearwater Beach, Fla.)

The creation of businessman and restaurant-owner Frank Chivas, who partnered with former Buccaneers running back Mike "A-Train" Alstott and tight end Dave Moore, Island Way Grill boasts that it's "all about fresh fish." The site says the restaurant has its own boats, which "make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper, and other local species... If it's any fresher, it is still in the Gulf." Fish is cooked around an oak- and citrus-fired open pit.

USA TODAY: Clearwater Beach voted Florida's best beach town by readers

11) Ditka's — Mike Ditka (Pittsburgh, Chicago, Oakbrook, Ill.)

The menus at all three locations of Da Coach's steakhouses are sprinkled with references to him, but if that's not enough, take a little bit of Ditka home by buying Da Coach's clothing and accessories, specialty wines, and cigars.

Menu highlights include the "Fullback Size" filet mignon with spinach and onion rings, and "Da Pork Chop." The restaurant was good enough to reach the ninth spot on our list of the 25 Best Celebrity-Owned Restaurants.

12) Clyde Frazier's Wine and Dine — Clyde Frazier (New York City)

Walt "Clyde" Frazier opened his sprawling eponymous restaurant on the far west side of Manhattan in March of 2012, and it's a floor to- ceiling paean to the gregarious Knicks legend and broadcaster, with wall-to-wall photo murals and portraits, and oftentimes the man himself on hand. The bar boasts three-dozen TVs; there's an oak-paneled half basketball court (in all odds the city's only one in a restaurant), and portion sizes are generous. Menu items are all over the map, from wild mushroom ravioli to blackened salmon in vanilla-bourbon butter.

13) Brett Favre's Steakhouse — Brett Favre (Green Bay, Wis.)

Packers replacement Aaron Rodgers has already cemented his reputation among cheeseheads, but Brett Favre's Steakhouse still continues to pull in the regulars. The restaurant is filled with Packers memorabilia, trophies, and personal items of the peripatetic quarterback. It's "the one place on Earth that captures the spirit of #4," notes the restaurant's website, reflecting "Brett's Southern upbringing in its menu and warm, welcoming atmosphere."

Largest cuts include the 32-ounce porterhouse, Brett's Signature Steak (a 20-ounce portion of London broil seasoned with cracked pepper, and garnished with sautéed button mushrooms), and Brett's Cut (20 ounces) of Titletown's Best Prime Rib. That Southern upbringing shows itself on the menu, with items like Bayou pasta, blackened grouper, and jambalaya. And Friday nights feature perch, walleye, and all-you-can-eat cod.

14) Fred & Steve's Steakhouse — Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie (Lincoln, R.I.)

Fred Smerlas (nose tackle with the Bills, 49ers, and Patriots) and Steve DeOssie (linebacker, long snapper, and former Cowboy, Giant, and Patriot) opened their steakhouse, Fred & Steve's Steakhouse, in the Twin River Casino in 2007. House specialties on the self-described "wicked good menu" include sweet creamed corn off the cob with pancetta, smothered cubanelle peppers, lobster mac and cheese with truffle oil, and "tobacco onions."

15) Randy White's Hall of Fame Barbeque — Randy White (Frisco, Texas)

The former defensive lineman and linebacker serves up "Dallas-style" Texas barbecue on the outskirts of the city (in Frisco), via a wood-burning pit. Opened in 1994, the restaurant is well-known for its all-you-can-eat Friday special and $6-plate lunches.

16) Majerle's — Dan Majerle (Phoenix)

Former Phoenix Suns guard "Thunder Dan" Majerle was renowned for his ability to shoot from downtown. His restaurant, a little more than a block from US Airways Arena, is situated squarely in the downtown district. (Actually, there are four locations, with another opening soon in Flagstaff.) The menu features references to former players like the Sir Charles Chicken Sandwich, and includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, and wraps, along with the traditional sports-bar appetizers (nachos, wings, sliders, and quesadillas).

17) Wayne Gretzky's — Wayne Gretzky (Toronto, Ontario)

The namesake restaurant of Canada's most beloved hockey player and NHL Hall of Famer is strategically located a block and a half from the Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays. Despite being closer to the ballpark than the hockey arena, Gretzky's recently-renovated dining room pulls in fans with local delicacies like poutine, a heart-clogging mash-up of skin-on fries, cheese curds, and a pool of gravy. There are also pan-fried pierogies stuffed with bacon, potato, and Cheddar, inspired by "The Great One's" grandmother. For oenophiles, Gretzky produces his own brand of wine, No. 99: its grapes are grown on a peninsula in Vineland, Ontario, considered to be the "Napa of the North."

18) Billy Sims Barbecue — Billy Sims (Various Locations)

After a brief but sparkling professional career as running back for the Detroit Lions, Sims turned his attention to his other passion: barbecue. There are currently a whopping 30 locations of Billy Sims Barbecue throughout Oklahoma, Missouri, and Michigan (with a 31st opening soon), with traditional barbecue favorites like pulled pork, brisket, and smoked chicken joined by regional specialties including Frito Chili Pie and smoked bologna. He also, of course, offers tailgate-friendly "super packs."

19) Joe Theismann's — Joe Theismann (Alexandria, Va.)

Many dishes at Joe Theismann's sound pretty run-of-the-mill — wedge salad, seared ahi tuna,— but you have to be doing something right to have the staying power this former Redskins' quarterback's restaurant does, since it opened more than 35 years ago. Of greatest interest perhaps is the steakhouse-cut pork chop with a "secret rub," a longtime customer favorite.

20) 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill — Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Braun (Brookfield, Wis.)

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers teamed with Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun to open this farm-to-table bar and restaurant in 2012. The restaurant gets its beef from nearby Hidden Creek Farm, and the comfort food-heavy menu includes items like Cheddar and Gouda tater tots, fried cheese curds, pastrami-spiced pork chop, and surf and turf

It’s a struggle… to become the man that you want to be.

It’s harder than you want, it’s longer than you want, and it takes more out of you than… than you expect that it should.

I don’t know if my Dad became the man that he wanted to be, but I do know he wanted to be the man that he ultimately became.

He was a leader, he was a teacher, and he taught those hard lessons to so many of us here today.

He helped us to see that it might be possible.

To be someone else... To be better than you might have dreamed.

Our dreams got bigger, because he told us that it was possible.

I hope his spirit lives on in each of us.

For every life that was touched by his generosity. I know that Mr. Washington will live on in me forever.
